Juanita Bateman, BS, LCCE, CLC, CPST
From a young age, Juanita envisioned herself helping mothers and babies have the best start possible. She has a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Texas Christian University. After graduating, she stayed at home for a while with her first child then started her career as a health educator for the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program. After a family move to Minnesota, she worked at Mayo Clinic as a Web Content Producer but couldn’t take her mind off mothers and babies. Naturally a nurturer, she trained as a doula through DONA. Soon after, she became a Certified Lactation Counselor. Juanita has worked as a Prenatal Educator at a local hospital, where she earned her Lamaze® certification. She was also a breastfeeding peer counselor for the WIC program.
Juanita’s most important work is being a wife and a mother of 3. Her journey into motherhood has inspired her passion for moms, babies and families. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you reach your pregnancy, birth and breastfeeding goals!
“Nurtured mothers hold the key to life, love, joy, and peace.”
